A

Eco-fashion clothes are made using organic raw materials, organic cotton, hemp and bamboo
Not dyed using harmful chemicals
Recycled and reused textiles, second-hand clothes or recycled plastic bottles
Made to last longer
Come from fair trade, manufacturers pay people a fair wage, decent work hours, working conditions and does not use child labour

A

Renewable resources such as plants that need less water and produce good yields
Little or no chemicals are used

Organic textiles:
No harmful pesticides
No bleaching/colourants
Natural plant dyes

Non-organic textiles:

Few chemicals are used
Soy: pods of soya bean, easy to cultivate, biodegradable
Bamboo: bamboo pulp, grows quickly, no need for pesticides

Silk: cared for, no chemicals used
Fibres: mohair, wool - animals treated with care, no bleaching or colourants
