A

P- Gain a negative reputation.
E-People may start to stereotype individuals from areas of high crime, leading to social problems and a lack of opportunities in that area. E- The provision of local services will suffer as businesses will not want to set up in areas with high crime rates, which will limit employment opportunities and could lead to people committing crime because of poverty.

P- People will live in fear of being a victim of crime.
E-If the area is known for violent crime and anti-social behaviour people may not want to go out late at night as they may feel intimidated or unsafe.
E-This could lead to the area being a ‘no-go’ area and therefore people may move away from the area as a result if they can manage to sell their house.
