Imperfect active indicative
conjugation - visible -ba- sign throughout all verbs
future active indicative
Meaning - I shall…. rule etc
1st and second conjugation - distinctive -bi- sign in-between the vowel and the personal ending
third and fourth conjugation - the bi sign disappeared and there is an -a- in the nom singular and an -e- elsewhere, with the same personal endings as the first and second conjugation
perfect active indicative
for all conjugations, adds the I, isti, it and imus, mini, nter onto the stem of the verb
pluperfect active indicative
Meaning, I had loved = amaveram
The pluperfect tense is sometimes called the past perfect because it refers to an action completed in the past .
The pluperfect is formed by adding -era- + the regular endings ( -m , -s , -t , -mus , -tis , -nt ) to the perfect stem .
Many students remember these forms as a combination of the perfect stem + the imperfect of sum

The future perfect tense ( which is rarely used in English ) refers to an action completed in the future . It is formed by adding -eri- ( -er- in the first sg . ) + the present endings ( -0 , -s , -t , -mus , -tis , -nt ) to the perfect stem . Except in the third plural form , these endings are identical to the future of sum
