- The overarching goal is community weelbeing (economic, social, environmental, cultural)

Ontario Healthy Communities Coalition’s 10 steps:
A
- Learn about community (Spend time in place, with people, ask questions, attend events in community, read things)
- Listen to community members (Interview key people, informal chat, joint local organizations, know the past, identify key leaders)
- Bring people together to develop a shared vision (hold a community gathering with foods)
- Assess community assets, ressources, needs, issues
- Help community members to recognize and articulate areas of concern and their causes
- Establich a vehicle for change
- Develop an action plan
- Implement the action plan (Fundraising, mobilization of partners and community members, further discussion, meetings, engagement of community: establish goals, objectives, roles and responsibilities, support,learn together))
- Evaluate results of actions (research and feedback loops to support learning)
- Reflect and regroup (have a look what was done, talk to each other)
