It comes on amber when a transceiver, normally associated with one RMP is tuned by another.
Example is if RMP 1 tunes VHF 2
What does the NAV button do on the RMP panel?
It selects navigation receivers and courses through the RMP and the MCDU RAD NAV pages are inhibited

When will the CVR start recording automatically?
After first engine start or on ground during the first 5 min after electrical power is connected
Also records in flight
How can you manually start using the CVR when on ground?
By pushing the GND CTL pb-sw

Aircraft has to be on ground
Parking brake has to be set
Push RCDR CVR ERASE for 2s
