major aphthae 10%: 20-30mm in diameter and have a raised firm edge. may persist for months before healing by firbosis
herpetiform ulceration
herpetiform aphthae 10%: large numbers of small 2mm diameter ulcers occur together
pulp polyp formaation following trauma
soft tissue oart of the inside of the tooth forms a polyp following a fracture that exteends to the polyp
painful, usually treatment is extraction of the tooth
emergency management of teeth
replant th tooth immidiately
primary teeth are not reimplanted
hold the tooth by the crown
rinse the tooth with normal saline if dirty
stabilise the tooth in position
arrange for appropriate dental treatment
