Q

How does our human mind work similarly?

A

senses are the input, info is then stored, retrieved when we then need it (input, process, output) example: teacher asks you a question - listen to explanation - rehearse it - able to answer the question

Q

What happens if you then pay attention to the input?

A

moves to the short term memory (30 secs and between 5 to 9 items (7+-2) then you may pay attention to it will move to the short term memory - if you then rehearse this info it then moves to the LTM - it will then be retrieved
