Q

describe the HAB example

A

a hostile attribution bias is a type of cognitive bias where some individuals interpret behaviour of others in various situations as threatening or aggressive. the person PERCEIVES the situation as hostile when it isn’t. E.G someone bumps your shoulder on a busy street. person with HAB interprets that as a personal attack and start a fight, leading to aggravated assault and being arrested (criminal behaviour)
