- restriction of energy intake for age, sex, and development

What are the two types of AN?
- Restricting Type (dieting, excercise, fasting, not eating)
- Binge eating / purging type (eating with self-induced vomiting, misuse of laxatives, diuretics, enemas, etc..)
What are the main medical complications of AN that hill noted in class?
Cardiac: bradycardia, hypotension, QT dispersion, cardiac atrophy
Gynecology: amenorrhea (use to required for diagnoses in women).
Electrolyte: dehydration, hypokalemia, hypophosphatemia, and hypomagnesemia.

OCD
