4) Faith in Jesus is needed to get to heaven - follow his teachings “Love thy neighbour”
Why does God allow pain and suffering? Give 3 reasons.
1) Original sin is a cause of evil.
2) Humans must use their free will better to prevent pain and suffering.
3) Humans should work together to defeat evil in this world (presence of evil comes from the devil)
4) Humans should be more educated - grow compassion and care for others. It is through SUFFERING that we learn to appreciate the GOOD.
5) Jesus is the way through pain and suffering - his sacrifice means heaven and paradise.
6) God is transcendent so Christians must accept and trust.
7) It influences them to help others.
