What is the definition of Job Performance?
Include behaviour within control of employee and contribute to achieving organizational goals and boundary for behaviour not in control and does not affect job performance
What are the 5 reasons why looking at results as the primary indicator of job performance creates problems?
Gives inaccurate picture of the employee because they are more than the final objective .
Managers could create bottom line mentality which results in socially undermining the employee.
Lead to employees to violet policies which results in legal fees, fines and lost of customer.
Results influenced by factors beyond the control of employees
Product quality, competition, tech, budget constraints .
Results don’t tell you how to improve behaviour for the next year

What is the definition Task performance?
Includes employee behaviours that are directly involved in the transformation of organizational resources into the goods and service that they produce. Fulfill to receive compensation, and to stay employed.
What is the definition Citizenship behaviour?
Voluntary employee activities that may or may not be rewarded but contribute by improving overall quality in workplace. More engaged it helps to support tasks performance
What is the definition Counterproductive behaviour?
Employee behaviour that intentionally hinder the organizational goal accomplishment

What is interpersonal Citizenship?
Benefits coworkers and colleagues. Helping them takes time and effort but makes positive impact and makes them motivated

If not part of job then it not OCB

Keeping co workers informed about matters that are relevant to them.
Good citizens do the opposite; they keep others in the loop with everything, never know what might be useful
Sportsmanship
Maintain good attitude with co workers even when they do something wrong or unit going through tough time
