refers to art with a bizarre or fantastic arrangement of images or materials. stemming from the unconscious mind or being dreamlike are other explanations.

doesn’t represent recognizable forms at all.
abstracted
recognizable imagery that has been altered through techniques like exaggeration, lack of information, distorting or dissecting
style
an artist develops a style based on any of the terms from Representational through abstraction. It can also be described as a consistent use of the visual elements and design principles.
cultural style
recurring and distinctive features that we see in many works of art emanating from a particular place and era.
culture
the totality of ideas, customs, skills and arts thhat belong to a group of people
civilization
a highly structured society, withh a written language or a very developed system of communication, organized government, and advances in arts and sciences.
visual culture
art is a part of the vast amount of imagery that humans create and proliferate, that comes to us through all kinds of media

Popular culture
Share attributes of fine art. They can also be analyzed along the lines of function, visual form, and content. Reflect the values and structures of our social systems, political hierarchies, and religious beliefs.

artwork that is shallow or pretentious or overly predictable. also considered a subcategory of popular culture.
camp
objects and images of such extreme artifice, but with a perverse sophisticated and aesthetic appeal.
