natural imagery is modified in a way that strives for perfection within the bounds of the values and aesthetics of a particular culture.
Expressionist or Expressionism
art communicating heightened emotions and often a sense of urgency or spontaneity.
Surrealism
refers to art with a bizarre or fantastic arrangement of images or materials. stemming from the unconscious mind or being dreamlike are other explanations.
nonobjective
doesn’t represent recognizable forms at all.
abstracted
recognizable imagery that has been altered through techniques like exaggeration, lack of information, distorting or dissecting
style
an artist develops a style based on any of the terms from Representational through abstraction. It can also be described as a consistent use of the visual elements and design principles.
cultural style
recurring and distinctive features that we see in many works of art emanating from a particular place and era.
culture
the totality of ideas, customs, skills and arts thhat belong to a group of people
