What is a digestive system.
A
The digestive system is made up of the alimentary canal and the organs associated with it.
The alimentary canal is a very long tube which extends from the mouth to the anus, with most of its length coiled in the abdomen.

Digestive organs
oesophagus, stomach, small intestine and large intestine
Other organs
salivary glands, liver, gall bladder and pancreas produce chemical compound which aids digestion.
