A
- Typical lesion (1 or more): painful nodules, abscesses, draining sinuses, double-open comedones, bridged scars
- Typical distribution: axillae, groin, buttocks, perineal, and inframammary regions
*Atypical or ectopic sites may be affected but at least 1 typical area must
be involved. - Chronicity and recurrence of symptoms
