Carcinosarcoma
Malignant tumor that is a neoplasm of carcinoma (tumor arising from epithelial tissue) and sarcoma (tumor arising from mesenchymal tissue)
Esophagoscopy
Insertion of a flexible endoscope through the mouth and into the esophagus for visual examination of the esophagus.
Friable
Said of tissue that easily tears, fragments, or bleeds when gently palpated or manipulated.
Intraluminal
situated within, occurring within, or introduced into the lumen.
Malignant
Refers to something that grows uncontrollably and spreads to other parts of the body; cancerous.
Mediastinal
Of, or pertaining to the mediastinum (area between the lungs)
Nausea
A distress of the stomach, with distaste for food and the urge to vomit.
Dysphagia
bad, painful, or difficult swallowing.
Diverticulum
A small bulging sac pushing outward from the colon wall.
Aortic arch
The portion of the main artery that bends between the ascending and descending aorta.
Anorectal
Of, or relating to, or involving both the anus and the rectum.
Angulation
An abnormal bend or curve in an organ.
Carcinoma
A malignant tumor arising from epithelial cells.
Diarrhea
abnormal frequent discharge of semisolid or fluid fecal matter from the intestine.
Polypoid
Resembling a polyp.
Reanastomosis
The reuniting (as by surgery or by healing) of a divided vessel.
