What is self-efficiency?
The belief in ones capabilties, increases as stages progress
What does Theory of planned behaviour say influences behaviour?
Personal and social factors

Three main factors of TPB
- Attitude reflects positives and negatives of engaging.
- Subjective norms reflect social pressure to perform.
- Perceived behavioural control reflects extent behaviour is volitional
What is cognitive evaluation theory
Specifies how various conditions shape the development of intrinsic motivation
What is self- determination theory? Tendency for what?
Says that motivation is multidimensional construct. Extent to which behaviours are volitional. growth with optimal conditions

Cognitive evaluation theory, organising integration theory, basic needs theory, and causailty orientations theory
Three psychological needs for SDT
Autonomy: choices and controlling own behaviour.
- competence: handling challenges and acheiving desired outcomes.
- Relatedness: socially connecting and feeling involved
6 determinants of Sport commitment model
sport enjoyment, involvement alternatives(feeling alternative activities more or less desireable), social support, involvement opportunities, Personal investment, social constraints (expectations to stay involved )
