These are generally more formal
What is colloquial language?
Informal, conventional style of writing.
It uses slang and regional phrases, so it is not business language
What is casual language?
Language that uses everyday word and expressions in a familiar group context
i.e. conversations with your family or friends
What is formal language?
communication that focuses on professional expressions that focus on roles, protocols, and appearance.
What is Syntax?
Grammatical arrangement of words in a sentence
What is an abstract word/noun?
Something that refers to an intangible concept
What are concrete terms?
Things that describe something we can see and touch
What is plagiarism?
Using someone else’s writing without giving credit to the source
