A

Ensured monarchy remained Protestant
- 57 Catholic heirs were to be excluded in favour of the Sophia of Hannover
- The monarch had to be an active communicant in the Church of England, attend services and comply with the Church of England
- Any non English monarch needed permission of parliament to declare war on a non English territory
- Monarch’s advisors must be accepted by the political nation
- Only Parliament could now remove judges
