Maximum sustainable yield
To achieve the maximum amount of resource extraction without depleting the resource from one harvest to the next.
Clear-cutting

Tracts of land with exceptional biodiversity that couple preservation with sustainable development to benefit local people

Timber cuts that came closer to mimicking natural disturbances
