It’s defined through the extent in which they use vision and auditory or tactile means for learning

They receive it through tactile, auditory and other nonvisual sense for all learning
What does it mean if a child is partially blind?
It means that she primarily uses auditory and tactile senses to learn however she might be able to use her limited vision to supplement
What sense does a child use if they have low vision?
They use vision primarily as a means to learn
What can a child learn through incidental learning if they have severe visual impairments?
Nothing. They cannot benefit from incidental everyday learning experiences.

It means that the size or shape of the eye prevents the light rays from focusing clearly on the retina.
What does Structural impairments mean in visual impairments?
It means damage to the eye’s optical or muscular systems

They are taught to use their vision as much and as efficiently as possible.
