What is Putchik’s wheel of emotion?
a cone that represents eight primary emotions that are arranged in opposite pairs. It may also map emotions that are more or less (diffused) intense of the eight primary emotions

Hedonic adaptation
Occurs when the mental scale that people use to judge the pleasantness-unpleasantness of their experiences shifts so that their neutral point, or baseline for comparison, changes
