What are the 8 Basic supervisory responsibilities?
Planner, Personal officer, trainer, coach, counselor, controller, decision maker, leader
Define basic responsibility - Planning
Be able to inspect, analyze data, develop routine recommendations, and be able to forecast future needs.
Define basic responsibility - Personnel Officer
Able to assign officers where they fit best. Round pegs in round holes
Define basic responsibility - Trainer
Supervisors develop their abilities to train their employees to be efficient, effective producers, who gain satisfaction from their work.

Confronting employee with job performance with the objective of finding ways to overcome deficiencies and improve job performance

Actively listening and responding to employees complaints, grievances, and problems. Counseling goal is to improve performance. Could be related to a personal problem, too.

Make sure rules and policies are followed. When facts are not there, employees should not be punished.

Possess traits of honorable nests, courageous nests, and vitality. he must be reasonably intelligent, must have good common sense, and must be persuasive and flexible. he is not born with these characteristics, but the can develop them.
