Good: strept, enteric GNRs, Pseudomonas (ceftazidime only)
Mod: MSSA (not ceftazidime)
Ceftriaxone Dose
IV/IM: 1-2 g q12-24h; no renal
Cefotaxime Dose
IV/IM: 1-2 g q4-12h
Cefotaxime Renal
0-20: half
Cefdinir Dose
PO: 300 mg BID or 600 mg Daily
Cefdinir Renal
0-30: 300 mg daily
Ceftriaxone Cautions
Crystallizes with calcium, biliary sludging in neonates
Cefpodoxime Dosing
PO: 100-400 mg q12h
Cefpodoxime Renal
0-30: q24h
Ceftazidime Dosing`
IV/IM: 1-2 g q8h
Ceftazidime Renal
31-50: 2 g q12h, 16-30: 1 g q12h, 6-15: 1 q24h, 0-5: 500 mg q24h
Ceftaroline Spectrum
Good: MSSA, MRSA, strepto, enteric GNRS
Mod: E. faecalis

31-50: 400 mg, 15-30: 300 mg, 0-15: 200 mg
