Q

How is CRAO managed?

A
  • Immediate referral to ophthalmologist
  • GCA is an important reversible cause
  • Ocular massage can be used
  • Inhaling carbogen (to dilate artery)
  • Sublingual isosorbide dinitrate
  • Long term management is treat reversible risk factors and secondary prevention
