ex: tight hip flexors may causes increased lumbar lordosis

may include pressure on a nerve root in the lumbar spine causing pain and the body will unconsciously adopt a posture that decreases the pain
respiratory changes
including
–>emphysema

concerns of body image
especially in children who dont want to appear too tall
young women with breast development
occupation
person who sits all day or is in poor alignment due to work environment
structural causes of poor posture
leg length discrepancies
anomalies of the spine
leg length discrepancies
if one leg is longer than the other, the posture is greatly effected
the body will compensate and so whatever it has to in order to get foot on the floor
anomalies of the spine
including hemivertebra
this will effect the length of the spine and cause poor posture
