Bradycardia=low heart rate headache fatigue nausea and vomiting diarrhea anorexia

Nursing implications:
A
1.) Monitor the apical pulse for 1 minute Do not give if: less than 60= adult less than 90= child less than 70= in an older child
2.) Monitor electrolytes: Hypercalcemia=HIGH CALCIUM HypOkalemia=LOW POTASSIUM HypOmagnesemia =LOW MAGNESIUM Increases the risk of toxicity
