* inhalation of airborne droplets
* direct contact with urine, feces, mucosal secretions

Clinical Signs
- Upper respiratory signs - nasal discharge, conjunctivitis, cough, lethargy, fever
- Vomiting / Diarrhea
- CNS - gum chewing seizures, ataxia

Recovered Clinical Signs
- CNS - twitching
- Dental - loss of enamel (from fever)
- Dermal - hyperkeratosis of nose and feet

- No specific therapy
- Supportive Care
Canine Parvovirus
Transmission
- Oronasal exposure with contaminated feces
- Stable in environment for months
- Attacks rapidly dividing cells

Clinical Signs
- GI Issues
- Fever
- Abdominal Pain
- Dehydration
- Recovered = myocardial disease

Fecal Antigen Test
* false negative = too early or >10 days post infection
* false positive = 4-6 days after MLV vaccine

- Supportive care 72-96 hours

* Rescue = sit for a minute and good
* Bleach = dilute and sit for 20 minutes
