What happens if you don’t have enough calcium in your diet

A

Too little: (short term) - weak bones, more likely to break. Tooth decay as lack of calcium to bind to phosphorous to make a strong rigid structure. (long term) osteoporosis in later life (brittle, porous bones) as peak bone mass may not be achieved.
Rickets in children. (Bendy bones - no rigid structure)
