what is agape
unconditional, selfless love that seeks the well-being of others without expecting anything in return, often associated with divine love or altruism (selfless concern for the well-being of others).
How does agape influence Christian behavior
because Jesus lived his life with agape, Christians should follow by him

what is the greatest commandment
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind, Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39, NRSVA).
why is the greatest commandment the greatest
-it encompasses the essence of all other commandments & focuses on agape towards God & others
-Without love, the foundation of faith and moral behavior would lack meaning, making it central to a life of integrity and purpose.

Loving our neighbours calls us to act selflessly, prioritising their well-being alongside our own.

why are Christians Stewards of the earth
-take care of the earth because it belongs to god
-Christians are inspired by Genesis to protect the environment, which includes actions like avoiding waste and using resources wisely.

-“The Lord God took the man & put him in the Garden of Eden to work it & take care of it” - Genesis 2:15

Explain how the belief that God created everything supports the concept of environmental stewardship.
The belief that God created the Earth supports stewardship by giving Christians a reason to see the Earth as sacred and worth protecting. While this is a strong motivation, some argue that caring for the entire planet is a daunting task.
benefits & disadvantages of Christian Stewardship for the planet
Good:
-protects the environment
-God said to do it
-inspires people to engage in environmental care together
-sense of responsibility to God
Bad:
-people have diff views on how it is done
-requires a lot of effort & long term commitment
-may not always be possible - lack or awareness/ resources
