- buns to upper toro, neck, or face
- facial/ airway oedema
- sooty face/sputum
- singed facial hairs
- respiratory distress

what is the management for burns?
A
- cool burn for 20mins (cool running water 5-15C)(can use “burnaid” if water unavailable)
- protect pt from heat loss
- provide analgesia
- dress burns with cling wrap longitudinally
- consider fluids

what is the process of providing fluid for burn victims?
A
- partial or full thickness burns more than 15% TBSA.
- Normal saline %TBSA x pt weight over 2 hrs
