According to depth of injury.
Superficial - epidermis
Partial - dermis
Full thickness - subcutaneous tissue

What are the potential complications of thermal burns?
A
Early: Dehydration and hypovolaemic shock, Airway compromise, Compartment syndrome
Late: Infection and sepsis, ARDS, Multi-organ failure, Scarring, Psychological
(2 early and 2 late to pass)
