Ab against desmoglein 3 and 1, DIF reveals “chicken wire” pattern
Tx of PV
oral steroids, mycophenoalte mofetil, azathioprine, rituximab
Etiology of PV
Genetic, drug-induced, paraneoplastic
Features of pemphigus foliaceus
Superficial, scaly crust, “corn flakes”, no systemic symptoms
