*heavy fire in cockloft , burn roof supports and cause ROOF COLLAPSE INTO TOP FLOOR
*rear walls pull away and collapse in one section
*side wall collapse especially when building in row has been demolished even if wall is braced
*indiscriminate movement of structural members can cause partial or complete collapse, as can weight of fire escape
TOP FLOOR FIRE IN BROWNSTONE ROW FRAME
2nd truck splits and check exposure
top floor in OLT BROWNSTONE–2ND TRUCK ADJOINING APT.
Examination holes in RETURNS of exposure
RETURNS REMOTE FROM FIRE SHOULD BE AVOIDED

BC
-determine how much fire in cockloft
-how many buildings involved
-fire in rear
-access to rear
*AS FIRE PROGRESSES IN COCKLOFT, IC MUST GET REPORTS OF STABILITY OF ROOF…MUST DECIDED WHEN MEMBERS SHOULD EVACUATE ROOF
**When any doubt exist, members ordered off roof and fire escapes **
-HIGHER COCKLOFT , greater the danger
ALL HANDS and FIRE IS NOT UNDER CONTROL
may be necessary to call for EXTRA ENGINE AND TRUCK
FLOOR FULLY INVOLVED FRONT TO REAR
