- Believed to be hormonal role

What are the symptoms of breast lumps?
A
- Soft fluctuant swelling
- Smooth
- Often tender
- Size may vary according to menstrual cycle and pregnancy

What si the appearance of breast cysts on imaging?
A
Well circumscribed edges
MAMMOGRAM
-Halo appearance
US
- Round fluid filled lesion = anechoic
- Wider than it is taller

What is the management of cysts?
A
IF symptomatic
-Aspirate
NB: if fluid is blood send must send off for CYTOLOGY
