Major sins
What are the four major sins mentioned?
Shirk, disobeying parents, murder and to lie.
Pride
What has been said about anyone who has pride?
Who ever has the size of a mustard seed of pride in their heart will not enter jannah.
Pride is to reject the truth and look down on people
Good character
Why was the prophet sent?
He was sent to perfect qualities of righteous character.
Health and free time
What should we do in our health and free time?
They are the two blessings that people fail to make the most of. It’ll be the wish of the dead to have one more second alive to pay zakah and wish of those in paradise to do more dhikr in their time. It’s a suggested that we make use of our free time and health by obeying Allah and doing good deeds.
Truth and lies
Why should we not lie?
Lying just leads to another lie and a lie after that and we should always tell the truth. The reason we lie is because satan convinces us when we are in a bad situation that lying will get us out of it but Allah will expose us and if we speak the truth it least to goodness and goodness leads to heaven but if we lie it leads to being immoral and being immoral lead to hell and you’ll be known as a liar to Allah.

What did the prophet say about us?
said that he wish he could meet his brothers and companion said not your brothers and he said you are my companions but those who are my brothers are those who love me and have not even seen me this shows that we should do more and we should try and get closer to the prophet, and our deen is not complete until we love him more than our parents, children and everyone.
Five pillars
What is Islam based on?
It is based on the five pillars believing in the Shahadah, establishing salah, paying zakah, performing hajj and fasting in the month of Ramadan. Those are the core points of Islam.
The quran
Why we should read the Quran?
We should read the quran regularly as on the day of judgement it will intercede for us. It is a form of protection for us. We should aim a couple pages every day as quran gets us closer to Allah and we can learn the words of Allah. we should read the Quran with correct tajweed and makhaarij.
Salah
What is the best of deeds?
The prophet said the best of deeds is to pray Salah at its correct time however when spoken about the best. It has been changed according to the situation such as if someone was angry he was told by the profit that the best deed for him is to calm down. We should pray our fardh, sunnah, nafl and sunnah muakhadah, and as close to the beginning time as those read it near the starting time gets more good deeds rather than those who pray near the end of time.
Kindness to parents
What has the prophet said about those who do not care for their parents?
The prophet has cursed those who do not care for their parents during old age as they have not done their duty that reaches them to heaven. We should care for our parents the most during old age as they need us the most and care for our parents leads to heaven.
Gatherings
What happens in a gathering that Allah is remembered in?
Gatherings that Allah is remembered in before you go to an Islamic gathering Allah looks at you 70 times with Rahma before he chooses you. The prophet said that a gathering where Allah is remembered in angels surround them Tranquility descends upon them mercy upon them and all mentions them to the angels in his presence and if we remember Allah, Allah remembers us.
Good actions
What is every act of goodness?
Name five good actions
Every act of goodness is charity.
Smiling, giving to charity, honouring your guest, obeying your parents, helping your neighbour
Sadaqah
Why should we give to charity?
Whenever we give it to charity, we do not lose something however a lot actually blesses us with more whether we can see it as in money or we cannot as in barakah, we should always give to charity as it is one of the five pillars and we should have faith in Allah
Ramadan
Why should we fast with faith and the hope for a reward?
We should fast with Faith as one who does it with Faith knows that it is wajib and true, and there’s a punishment for those who do not fast. We should also do it with ihtisab which means to hope for award as someone who is fasting will hope to be compensated by Allah. There is no point doing a good deed without faith or a hope for a reward as it is just a lifeless act, where as compared to someone who does it hoping for a reward they are doing it for the sake of Allah. Those who do a good deed without knowing it’s a reward will get some blessings however those who do it to knowingly will get the full reward. We should do all our good deeds with Iman and inhtisab. Allah also says that whoever fasts will get their past sins forgiven and it’s also been said in the future tends to assure that this will definitely take place.
Friendship
The prophet has said people follow the lifestyle and faith of their friends so be careful who you make friends with it has been specified rather than family or parents or teachers as friends have the most influence with you as they are who you hang out with.
