1.Anteaters, armadillos, and sloths-Special connection between vertebrates, and they are toothless.
2.insectivores- nose is long and pointed that help smell their prey, small brains, simple teeth. Ex. Moles
3.Rodents- One set of incisors and they grow continually
Ex. Mice
4. Rabbits, hares, pikas- 2 sets of incisors, tails are shorter than rodents
5.Flying mammals- bats, echolocation
6. Carnivores- large canine teeth and special molar teeth,
Ex. Bear, seals
7. Trunk nosed mammals- elephants, trunk is combo of upper lip and nose
8.hoofed mammals-hoof, large flat molars, odd toed or even toed
Ex. Donkey
9. cetaceans- live in water , echolocation. Ex. Dolphin
10. Manatees and dugongs-swim slowly, eat mostly plants
11. primates- five fingers and toes, flat finger nails,larger brain for its size, forward facing eyes, thumbs. Ex. Monkeys

A

Keel- big muscles can attach to it.
Flight muscles- move the wings, attached to keel
Rapidly beating heart- hives a constant supply of oxygen rich blood
