in high energy bonds between the phosphate groups

A
catalysed by ATP hydrolase
ATP broken down into ADP and Pi, and one inorganic phosphate as the phosphate bond is broken

A
catalysed by ATP synthase, ADP and Pi is resynthesised into ATP
