Reasons Mussolini was popular with Italians
He was anticommunist, patriotic, nationalistic. Another way he came to power was by threatening the King of Italy. Mussolini also led the first European fascist movement.

Britain and France suffered heavy losses during WW1, so they did not take action when Hitler became aggressive because thy did NOT want to start another war.

Countries of Europe agreed to allow Hitler to take part of Czechoslovakia without a fight. An example of appeasement is to prevent war.

Germans were angry over their colonial losses, so the Nazis used that anger and invaded neighboring territories and expanding their territory in Europe.
How did the people of Germany feel about the Treaty of Versailles?
Hated it and disliked other European countries because of it. ALso blamed their govt. for signing it.
