Describe the technique for Vasectomy

A
  1. anesthesia - local cord block + skin block
  2. locate vas and perform skin incision
  3. Grasp vas and separate from adjacent structures
  4. Clip +/-1 suture +/-1 cautery. Incise and remove short segment of vas
  5. observe site and assure hemostasis.
  6. skin closure
