A
rare multiorgan disease caused by systemic vasculitis of veins and arteries of all sizes, hypercoagulability and neutrophil hyperfunction.

oral and genital ulcers, uveitis, erythema nodosum, vasculitis, acneiform lesions, thrombophlebitis at venepuncture sites, pathergy, arthralgias

blood tests to look for: RF, ANA, ANCA, ACE levels, HLAB51 and pathergy test

CNS imaging and lumbar puncture, Endoscopy, HRCT, ophthamology review, biopsy for vasculitis

treatment of behcet’s
A
Steroids, colchicine, azathioprine, methotrexate, DMARDs
