A
Glaucoma
Pyloric stenosis
BPH

Side effects of atropine
A
Dry mouth, blurred vision, tachycardia, other anticholinergic effects

What interacts with atropine?
A
Potassium tablets are a GI irritant, which is made worse by prolonged transit time with atropine

How does atropine work?
A
Anticholinergic - reduces parasympathetic effects on heart rate and blood pressure

How is atropine eliminated?
A
Hydrolysed in liver, excreted mainly in urine
