What’s the ATL?
Aircraft Technical Log.
It is a log of the technical status of the aircraft that is used to report any potential issue or abnormal situation to CAMO.
When should a new MEL item start to take effect?
On the day following the discovery of the issue.
Which additional action should be done when you enter a new MEL item in the ATL?
Send the ATL picture to technic in addition to posting it on Fl3xx.
What’s the MEL?
Minimum Equipment List.
It is used to assess which airplane systems can be inop and for how long.
What’s the HIL?
Hold Item List.
It is a summary of the aircraft’s systems and equipments that are currently under MEL.
Who establishes the MEL?
The operator.
It can only be more restrictive than the MMEL established by the manufacturer.
What are the different categories of rectification intervals?
A. Specified in the MEL (non-standard)
B. 3 days
C. 10 days
D. 120 days
