parent interview, chief complaint, birth history, medical history, developmental milestones, family history and educational history
What is involved in an oral peripheral examination?
we assess the structure and function of the articulators:
Face, jaw, teeth, tongue, hard and soft palate
OPE of face:
we look for symmetry of the face, mouth breathing and other abnormalities

we look for range of motion, bite alignment and missing teeth.

What iss involved in Diadochokinetic testing?
we assess the child’s oral-motor coordination. (putuku or pattycake)
What standardized tests are used for Phonology assessment?
For phonology assessment, the standardized testing we use are articulation test and phonological test.
Typically GFTA-3 and Khan Lewis, or Hodson assessment of phonological patterns
