A

Don’t believe in only Jesus
Don’t believe in deeds
Don’t believe that we have to be baptized in water to go to heaven
Don’t believe in the 144,000

Our belief is full gospel. Everything Jesus taught, we believe. We believe and practice the Cannon.

Now we are at age where we should defend the belief in this.

Acts 2:14 This verse and onward, Peter defends what happened on the day of pentecost. As they were accused of being drunk. All who were there were talking in their message.

Acts 4 Peter and John go against the council. Because they were ordered not to obey Jesus. Peter argued, it is better to obey God than to obey man.

4 General Components for Arguments

A
  1. Claims: A statement about what is true or good. Potentially arguable.
  2. Reasons: Statements that support your claim. Makes a claim more than a mere assertion. Starts with the word “because”
  3. Support: substantiates reason because it offers evidence. Statistics, evidence, testimonies.
  4. Warrants: Justification. Justifies why I am making my claim. Gives justification and supports the reasoning and the claim.

3 Key Aspects of Christian Apologetics

A
  1. Addressing objections: you will find objections against God, the Bible, it’s inerrancy, how do you know. It aims to provide answers.
    1. Reasoned Defense: What does that do, what does it mean, apologetics involves presenting logical arguments and evidence to support the truth of Christianity. Apologetics is presenting logical arguments and evidence. Evidence that supports the truth of Christianity. (God put God in us, but God rejected that which is right and chose to do the wrong.)
    2. Strengthen Faith: Apologetic helps Christians to have a deeper understanding and confidence in their beliefs. Become unmovable.
    3. Persuading Others: It seeks to purusade others nonbelievers to consider the christian message by presenting compelling case of the truth.Job is to convince other believers that christianity is the truth.
    4. Biblical Foundation: Christian apologetics is rooted in the bible. And it seeks to defend the truths revealed within the bible. It’s rooted. Our knowledge should be to grow in the kjnowledge in the word of God daily.
    5. The Gospel as the Foundation: The Gospel message itself is the ultimate foundation for Christian apologetics. It’s the gospel foundation that answers fundamental quetstions about life and the meaning of existence
