AE:

-Respiratory paralysis

CI:
-Renal disease
-Hearing impairment
-Pregnancy

– Linezolid
– Tedizolid

MOA: Inhibits the formation of the initiation complex on 50S

USE: gram-positive mainly

AE:
-GI distress
-Bone marrow suppression (TCP)
-Optic/peripheral neuropathy

DI: MAOI/SSRI = serotonin syndrome
-HTN crisis if with tyramine foods

MOA: bind to 30S subunit and inhibit aminoacyl tRNA binding

USE: broad spec

AE:
-GI
-Bone/teeth
-Phototoxicity

DI: Cations (antacids/Ca/Mg/Fe)

CI: Children / Pregnancy

CPC is 30 and eats PBG on HER BICYCLE
