Description
dopamine antagonist similar to procainamide but with few antidysrhythmic or anesthetic properties. Its antiemetic properties stem from rapid gastric emptying and desensitization of vomiting reflex.

hypersensitivity, seizure disorders, GI obstruction or perforation, breast cancer

10-20 mg IM; 10 mg slow IV (over 2-4 min)
