A
Loperamide - opiod that doesn’t cross the BBB, agonist of opiod receptors in gut, reduces peristaltic contractions and increases anal tone

A
Avoid in:
- Ulcerative colitis
- C. diff infection
Do not use in acute, bloody diarrhoea as this may be bacterial.
