A
  • Weber’s classification
    • A - below tibiofibular syndesmosis, leaving it intact
    • B - level of syndesmosis, leaving it intact or partially torn
    • C - above syndesmosis, leaving it disrupted

  • Medial and/or lateral malleolus swollen and tender to palpation
  • Pop heard on fall
  • Ankle deformity
