A
  • predictable pain on exertion (goes away after 5 mins)
  • breathlessness
  • central chest tightness can radiate to jaw/chest/neck/shoulders/arm
  • nausea

A

-unstable is increased in frequency/severity of pain to progressively little exertion

  1. BB (atenolol/bisoprolol)
  2. rate limiting CCB (diltziam/verapamil)
  3. Trial other drugs: isorbide mononitrate/GTN patch, nicorondil, ivabradine
  4. Ranolazine
