inferior
Inferior/Caudal
Describes a position below or lower than another part of the body. Near or towards the tail. The pelvis is inferior to the abdomen.

Superficial
Position closer to the surface of the body. Skin is superficial to the bones.
Deep
Position farther from the surface of the body. Brain is deep to the skull.
Sagittal plane
Divides the body or organ vertically into right and left sides.
Midsagital or median plane
When the sagittal plane divides the body into equal parts (left and ride side of body) If the body is divided unequally, it is called a parasagittal plane or longitudinal section.
Parasagittal plane or longitudinal section
Sagittal plane (splits body into left and ride sides) but unequally.

Frontal plane
Frontal (coronal plane)
Dives the body into anterior (Front) and posterior (rear) portions
